new car today. I went with the same make and model that I have been driving for the past 6 years. When I went from my 2001 into my 2004, it was like getting into the same car but a different color.
NOT NOT
Big difference in this car. For one, it doesn't have cruise control which I never used on the other car. For another, it doesn't have the cute little overhead storage for sun glasses, which I used maybe the first two weeks. Also missing is the little storage compartment on the dash, which I used so often, I forgot to clean it out (need to call the dealership, but if I don't know what's in there, do I really need it?)
OK - now the radio is fun. Controls are on the steering wheel, which I probably will never use. I put the radio on one station and very rarely change the volume. BUT BUT on the control panel of the radio is the time, which I always look at, and the outside temperature like the radio station never mentions that.
And get this, on the bottom of the panel, IT TELLS YOU THE NAME OF THE D.J. AND THE STATION PLAYING. WOW WOW - like the DJ doesn't announce his name and the station after every song. LOL LOL Also tells you if a door is open and which one DOOR OPEN FRONT LEFT (remember the car that said A DOOR IS A JAR?)
Took a while to program the side view mirrors. The right side was fine, but I was halfway to the Bronx before I was happy with the drivers side.
OH and also, the Open Trunk control is on the floor and combined with the Open Gas Cap. So when you go to the gas station, you can check your trunk contents.
So, that's my new car. By the way it's Black with Gray seats. Looks real cool (do they say that anymore?)
So now tomorrow all the neighbors will say "OH did you get a new car" LOL LOL LOL
